Story Behind The Song
I wrote this song in memory of the massacre at Virginia Tech....the deep quiet, slower part of the song is meant to convey the fear I feel in a hopeless, desperate situation such as it was....the faster part was my feeling of their getting away to safety...I do modulate to major as a way of conveying that bad things happen but life goes on.
Song Description
this song begins a bit mysterious, quiet, even ominous....the tempo picks up to describe a need to run and hide...there is a yearning...for lifetimes that have changed and will never be again...
